I think Nikon’s Digital SLRs are some of the most beautiful cameras on the planet. My own photography blossomed the day I bought my first Nikon, and I’m constantly amazed at the pictures they turn out. Do I sound like a fan? I am. That being said, I’ve sometimes been perplexed by the dizzying amount of models and features. Which one does what? And how much? That’s why I created NikonCams. Camera Models Included: D7200, D5500, D750, D810, D4s, D3300, Df, D5300, D610, D7100, D5200, D600, D4, D3200, D800e, D800, D5100, D7000, D3100, D3S, D300S, D3000, D5000, D3X, D90, D700, D60, D300, D3, D40X , D40 (Coming soon D5 and D500. ** My apologies for the delay in this. I've had a death in the family that has put me off schedule.) * Features of NikonCams: The main screen can be sorted to the precise Nikon DSLR category that you desire: FX, DX or Both. Zoom in on individual cameras exposing details such as Sensor Type, Estimated MSRP, Megapixels, ISO sensitivity, Memory Card Type, etc. All of this is completely offline - no web data is called upon. This means you can access the App’s main functionality without an Internet connection. * Camera Compare Feature Enabled via Options screen. Select the first camera then press the "Compare" button. From the list that appears, choose the camera that you'd like to compare. Both cameras will appear on screen side-by-side. Rotate your smartphone to a landscape orientation for best viewing. Additionally, cameras can be changed by clicking either camera image. * Web Content / Images / Pricing / Reviews Enabled via Options screen. Here you can toggle Amazon.com, Pbase.com, Nikon.com and DPReview.com websites to show up at the bottom of each camera’s details page. Choose any of the four selections in any combination. Toggling the Amazon.com look-up button gathers up-to-date information on pricing, availability and reviews. If you want, shop right from the App. Curious as to the type of photos that a particular camera produces? Use the Pbase.com toggle and you’ll see a sampling of the camera’s capabilities. Toggling Nikon.com brings you right to the camera’s specific Nikon page. Read expert reviews at DPReview.com. Green indicator lights (upper right) show at a glance which options are turned on. (DPReview gets a blue DP icon) They also navigate back to the Options screen when pressed. * Shutter Sounds Not only can you *see* Nikon’s cameras, you can *hear* them as well. As you'd probably expect, each Nikon has a unique shutter sound. Click the shutter button along the right side of the App’s main screen (Yellow designates DX models, Grey - FX) and listen to the various camera shutter personalities. 29 different shutter sounds are now available. * Who’s this App for? Pros, Amateurs, Nikon Enthusiasts, Camera Shoppers, Camera Comparing, Upgraders… just about anyone who enjoys learning and comparing Nikon’s great line of current and 'discontinued' DSLR cameras. I have no official affiliation with Nikon Corporation -- just a lover of their cameras. It is my sincerest hope that this app will help you in your camera selection decision, and the little bit I make will help me to buy additional Nikon equipment! :)
