The Solid-Optics Multi-Fiber-Tool is designed for network professionals. This software requires a Multi-Fiber-Tool which can be acquired by contacting Solid Optics. This app has 4 functionalities, it can recode or rebrand SFP/XFP and SFP+ from the brand Solid Optics to work in other Router/Switch manufacturers. The second functionality is the setting the channel of tunable XFP or SFP+ DWDM optics. The third functionality is the reading of the optical power level, it requires a separate SFP-Powerread to do this. The last functionality is the microOTDR which requires a separate SFP-OTDR.
